2.5 LAYER LINE is an apparel and bag line developed around F/CE.®’s “2.5-layer” material. It is characterized by an ultralight fabric made to the 20D×20D specification, with excellent breathability and water resistance, combining the durability of a 3-layer fabric with the compactness of a 2-layer fabric. It touts high-performance breathability and waterproofing, with breathability of 10,000 g and hydrostatic resistance of 10,000 mm. Items are available through the online stores of ROOT and F/CE. F/CE.® was established in 2010 by Toshifumi Yamane and Asami Yamane.
