3sixteen is an American clothing brand founded in New York in 2003 by Andrew Chen and Johan Lam. Starting with graphic T-shirts, it has, since introducing its first jeans in 2008, centered its offerings on American-made selvedge denim using custom fabrics developed in collaboration with Kuroki Mills in Okayama, and has also offered shirts, jackets, fleece, basics, accessories, and more. The brand emphasizes materials and trims that develop character over time, aiming to create garments that, through long wear, become well aged rather than simply worn out.
Concept
Fabrics and trims are always chosen for their capacity to develop character with time. Our aim is that, with diligent wear, our customers are rewarded with something well aged, never “old.”
