Overview

ALPO is a glove maker from Naples, Italy. Glove-making as a handicraft began under Fortunato Portolano in the late 19th century, and after the business expanded, its base moved to Milan in the 1940s. In the late 1970s, his son Alberto took over and established the company as ALPO, with an office/showroom in Milan and production in Inverigo. The company offers a diverse range of gloves, including hand-sewn leather gloves, cashmere gloves, and embroidered fabric gloves, and also collaborates with designers in Italy and abroad.
