Overview

ARMY TWILL originated as a store brand for military wear that emerged in the United States in the 1940s. After ceasing operations, it was relaunched in 2020 by MARQUE MAKER Co., Ltd. as the reproduction label “ARMY TWILL SANFORIZED.” Drawing on vintage clothing from the United States and Europe as design sources, it offers shirts, outerwear, pants, and other items made with original fabrics and distinctive patterns. Its philosophy is to combine heritage and modernity and aim for “vintage of the future,” with designer Shuhei Tada overseeing the process from material development and pattern-making through to production.

Concept

As a reproduction label that adds a contemporary interpretation to timeless concepts of the past, it presents new collections that combine heritage and modernity and aim to become vintage of the future.
