Overview

Avon Celli is a luxury knitwear brand founded in Milan, Italy, in 1922 by Pasquale Celli. Beginning with knitted swimwear in the 1930s, it later moved into socks and developed into luxury knitwear using cashmere, Tasmanian merino wool, silk, and other materials. Centered on fine 36-gauge knits and production that is 100% made in Italy, the brand focuses primarily on menswear and also produced knitwear for Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent. When it relaunched in 2021, it presented collections including womenswear, based on its archives.
