Dolomite is an outdoor brand whose origins date back to “Fabbrica Scarpe Montello,” opened in Italy in 1897 by 17-year-old shoemaker Giuseppe Galbuio. It focuses on footwear for mountaineering, hiking, and trail running, and also offers apparel. The brand became known internationally for providing equipment for the Italian expedition that made the first ascent of K2 in 1954. Its philosophy centers on combining quality, comfort, and performance with Italian design. Its signature lines include Cinquantaquattro, and it remains active today.
