BANA is a street, skate, and surf brand founded in 1992 by Jose Marques in Carcavelos, Sassoeiros, Portugal. It originally opened as a multi-brand surf and skate shop, and developed into its own line after Marques began making T-shirts, caps, and beanies bearing the logo. It now offers apparel, footwear, accessories, and skate products, with ties to local urban culture, including skateboarding, graffiti, and music, at its core. It also supports athletes and musicians and runs skate clubs and schools.
