MY BASIC BLUE 1
BIG JOHN WOLVO is a line derived from BIG JOHN, a Japanese jeans brand originating in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture. The parent brand grew out of the sewing business that founder Kotaro Ozaki started in Kojima in 1940. WOLVO began in 1985 and was launched as “BIG JOHN WOLVO” in 1998. Centered on an authentic style unaffected by trends, it offers denim and pants with an emphasis on ease of wear and a relaxed feel. Its range focuses on everyday bottoms such as stretch jeans, relaxed-fit styles, and chinos, and in 1998 it introduced “MY BASIC BLUE 1.”
