CAES is a Dutch womenswear brand founded in Amsterdam in 2019 by Helen de Kruijff. Based on the belief that fashion does not have to be “fast or seasonal,” the brand designs timeless garments for year-round wear that can be worn for a long time. Collections are released twice a year as “editions,” with an emphasis on continuity in design and longevity of wear, including pieces that carry forward styles from previous collections. The name CAES comes from the image of clothing enveloping the body like a “case,” as well as the name of the founder’s father.
