Overview

Citysides is a collection of penny loafers and moccasin-style shoes offered as a line by the American footwear brand Sebago. In 1946, Sebago-Moc Company was founded in Westbrook, Maine, and the Beefroll Penny Loafer was created as the first Citysides model. Inspired by “the vibrancy of the city” and “the inexhaustible energy of America’s great metropolises,” Citysides centers on bringing classic lace-free shoes to everyday styles around the world as models named after founders such as Dan, Joe, and Will.

Concept

The Citysides collection draws inspiration from the city, its buzz, and the inexhaustible energy of America’s great metropolises.

Sebago’s loafer line for urban settings. The official page describes it as a collection inspired by the vibrancy of the city and American metropolitan areas, built around three styles—Dan, Joe, and Will—and featuring designs named after the founders. It places tassel, fringe, Venetian, and bit styles, along with classic and more decorative variations, within the same line. In its 2021 official announcement, it was presented as one of three main lines alongside Docksides and Campsides.
