CROOTS is a British bags and leather goods brand founded in 1978 by John Smith and Margaret Smith. Starting with sports bags for hunting and fishing, it now offers luxury bags made from leather and canvas, travel bags, wallets, belts, country sports goods, and more. Its products are handcrafted in a workshop in Malton, North Yorkshire, England, with craftsmanship, British tradition, and carefully selected materials at its core, under the motto “classic English quality.” In 2004, the business was succeeded by their daughter Jackie and her husband, Alistair Croots, and the brand supplies more than 40 countries.
