CORNICHE is an independent designer boutique founded by Nina Grant in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1975. In its early years, Grant designed and made garments herself; later, the store was among the first to introduce Japanese designers from Tokyo, and has curated avant-garde talent from around the world. Today, it focuses primarily on menswear, womenswear, and unisex/gender-neutral clothing, carrying labels including Vivienne Westwood, Uma Wang, LUNDHOLZ, and Ziggy Chen. Its work centers on introducing, selecting, and supporting the talent of avant-garde designers worldwide, and it has received the Drapers Awards’ UK Designer Store of the Year award.
