GRIZZLY, officially Grizzly Griptape, is a skateboarding gear and streetwear brand based in Los Angeles, California, USA. Founded in 2001 by professional skateboarder Torrey Pudwill, it originated as a DIY operation in which he used a metal stencil made by his father to imprint the logo onto grip tape. The brand now offers skateboard decks, apparel, headwear, accessories, and other products, with grip tape for decks at its core. Featuring a bear logo as its signature and fielding a team of professional skateboarders, it operates with roots in skateboarding culture.
