HAAS is a fashion brand whose founder is identified as Akihiko Yoshikai. After gaining experience at ISSEY MIYAKE, Yoshikai worked as a modelist for major maison brands. He moved to France in 1999 and began working as a designer in Paris, then started designing for his own brand in 2000. In 2008, he also launched COURT ROLL. Drawing on traditional styles, the brand retains the artisanal details of a bygone era while remaining mindful of the standards of the times, creating products without compromise that are genuinely fulfilling.
