HILLTOP is a factory brand specializing in stoles and scarves, with roots in F&A Hill, founded in London, England, in 1817. The company originally manufactured horse tack and horse blankets, and HILLTOP was established when brothers Freddie Hill and Albert Hill expanded the business into travel blankets and other products in the late 1880s. From the 1950s onward, it developed wool accessories made from materials such as lambswool, lamb angora, and cashmere, with tartan and windowpane checks among its signature patterns. The business continues today through F&A Hill.
