Histoire-U is the U line developed by Histoire Co., Ltd. Founded in Osaka in 2006 by Hidetoshi Kato, the company designs bags and fashion accessories, which it supplies through manufacturing and wholesale operations and retail channels (directly operated stores, e-commerce, and wholesale). Drawing on designer Yuko Ohashi’s inspiration, U gives form to materials and handwork. Noir (French for black) is its main color, chosen to bring out the appeal of adult women.
