Cherish what you love.
INGEBORG is a Japanese women's fashion brand launched in 1983 by designer Isao Kaneko. Its guiding principle is “cherish what you love.” Centered on a “dress-like sensibility” for adult women, the brand values the world envisioned by Kaneko while staying in sync with the times and continuing to uphold its ethos. It devotes care to the making of each fabric, motif, print, and technique, and creates clothing and accessories featuring gardenias as its signature motif.

Concept

Poise and charm. Nobility and allure.
Adult women in whom opposing qualities coexist are the theme of INGEBORG.

B-I, a new brand that emerged from INGEBORG, was launched with Japanese craftsmanship at the forefront, grounded in respect for the history and archives of a brand with more than 40 years of history. With Yuya Nakata as creative director, it carries forward INGEBORG’s worldview while offering clothing and accessories incorporating the traditional beauty of textiles from Bishu, taking on new forms of expression as the brand’s second chapter. The collections are reconfigured around projects, presenting a new perspective while remaining continuous with the established INGEBORG.
