Ipanema 77 is a premium line introduced in January 2006 by IPANEMA, a footwear brand from Brazil. Expanding the scope of its parent brand, which had centered on flip-flops, it offered exclusive sandals and collaborative models with other brands and designers for young, fashion-conscious women. Its defining feature was a fashion sensibility that went beyond beachwear, and in the 2010s it also developed projects with Lenny Niemeyer, Philippe Starck, and ÁGUA DE COCO. IPANEMA is a Brazilian sandal brand launched by Grendene in 2001.
