JOHN COMFORT is a necktie brand founded in London, England, in 1908. Its origins lie in The Cathedral Knitting Company, established by founder John Comfort. In 1920, the company was renamed J. Comfort and Company Ltd. and expanded beyond knitted ties to include woven and printed ties. The long-established brand is centered on traditional British fabrics and classic patterns. After a hiatus of around 20 years, it was revived by Japan’s FAIRFAX. It currently focuses on neckties made using British fabrics.
