Overview

Keith Haring is an art and licensing brand named after artist Keith Haring, who was born in Pennsylvania, United States, in 1958. Active in New York in the 1980s, he worked in subway stations and on the streets. In 1986, he opened the Pop Shop in SoHo, making T-shirts, buttons, posters, and other items widely available at low prices. The Keith Haring Foundation, established in 1989, continues to manage copyrights and licensing, and the brand continues to expand into apparel and lifestyle goods.
