Marimekko is a lifestyle design company spanning textiles, clothing, and home furnishings, founded in Helsinki, Finland, in 1951 by Viljo and Armi Ratia. Its offerings include clothing, bags and accessories, and home décor ranging from textiles to tableware. Centered on original prints and color, the company champions timeless, functional, high-quality products designed to be enjoyed for a long time. Vuokko Nurmesniemi and Maija Isola were among those involved in the early development of its design, and its printing factory remains in Helsinki. As of 2023, it continued to operate through stores and online.
