Miss Dior
Basic information
Overview
Miss Dior was the name of a fragrance introduced by the French maison DIOR in 1947, emerging around the same time as founder Christian Dior’s debut collection. Since then, fragrances have remained at its core, with variations such as Eau de Parfum continuing to be offered. In 1967, during Marc Bohan’s tenure, the women’s ready-to-wear line “Miss Dior” was also launched, and lines and items bearing the same name continue to be updated each season within DIOR’s women’s collections.

Miss Dior is a fragrance series that was introduced in 1947 and represents the maison. It is positioned as one of Christian Dior’s major early perfumes. In 1967, Miss Dior expanded into ready-to-wear under Philippe Guibourge, a significant part of its history. Today, it is operated primarily as a fragrance collection, while its past ready-to-wear offerings reflect the brand’s history of diversification.
