MUKASA is a Japanese womenswear brand established in 2022 by designer Ayako Mukasa. The brand focuses primarily on clothing and does not set fixed seasonal themes or target audiences; instead, Mukasa incorporates into her designs what she sees and feels during the creative process, as well as memories from within. Rather than drawing on distant subject matter, the brand takes as its starting point experiences close at hand, and also uses fabrics developed with production regions in Japan. Mukasa previously founded the brand STAIR.
