New Manual is a fashion brand launched in Japan in 2022. The project was conceived by Yasuyuki Kawakami, who runs the denim processing company 癒toRi18, and launched with Hiroshi Fujiwara, a vintage denim advisor and director of the vintage clothing store BerBerJin, at its center. Drawing on knowledge of vintage wear and processing techniques, the brand offers garments centered on denim that reinterpret clothing from the past through a contemporary perspective.
