Overview

Perfect ribs is a Japanese fashion brand launched in 2022 by designer and creative director Makoto Naniwa. Centered on ribbing made with a special knitting technique, the brand offers cut-and-sew garments that are less prone to fraying even when cut off. Drawing on experience in the vintage clothing and apparel industries, it garment-dyes each piece in colors reminiscent of vintage clothing and also undertakes upcycling by replacing the ribbing on garments for reuse.
