Poutnik by Tilak is the travel line of the Czech outdoor brand Tilak, launched in autumn/winter 2013. The brand name means “traveler” or “pilgrim” in Czech. Centered on high-performance travelwear designed to keep people traveling the world comfortable, it adapts the same technologies and materials used in Tilak’s outdoor products for urban use. It emphasizes minimalist designs that are not swayed by trends. In terms of design, collaboration with Errolson Hugh of ACRONYM helped lay the foundations. The garments are sewn in the company’s own factories in the Czech Republic (Šumperk, Prostějov).
