We Exist to Empower
ROXY is a women’s surf, snow, and swimwear brand founded in 1990 and centered in California by Quiksilver. Bob McKnight focused on the women’s market, pursuing a balance of style, performance, and femininity through products inspired by the mountain and the wave. Its slogan is “We Exist to Empower.” The early boardshorts were designed by Sonia Kasparian, and the brand also offers children’s lines such as Roxy Girl and Teenie Wahine. It continues to be sold through the official online store.
