You Can Surf Later is a project label/sub-brand of ESPIONAGE developed by the South Korean company Warehouse. Announced in 2015, it offered kidswear and lifestyle goods in addition to adult clothing. The project began in spring 2014, when ESPIONAGE H.Q. took note of words engraved on a lighter belonging to a soldier who had served in the Vietnam War, and it pursued “design that is free yet meaningful.” Its focus was casual wear that was lighter and more active than the main brand. Kim Sangjin was responsible for overall planning and practical design for ESPIONAGE and YCSL.

Inspired by words engraved on a lighter belonging to a soldier who served in the Vietnam War, it shared the main brand’s approach of research and reinterpretation while offering lighter, more active clothing.
