AKIRANAKA is a Japanese fashion brand founded by designer Akira Naka, who launched its predecessor, “POESIE,” in 2007, renamed it “AKIRA NAKA” in 2008, and adopted the current spelling from Spring/Summer 2019. Centered on womenswear, the brand offers clothing, jewelry, and shoes, with a focus on rich textiles, three-dimensional tailoring, and Nordic and Japanese knitting techniques. Its concept is “Wearing ATTITUDE.” The brand aims to draw out inner perspectives, thoughts, intelligence, and elegance through clothing, and continues its activities through participation in Tokyo Collection and overseas sales.
