Altiri Chiba is a Japanese professional basketball club based in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. It was founded in July 2020 alongside the establishment of Altiri Co., Ltd. The club name “altiri” means “to attract” in Esperanto, and the club aims to captivate everyone involved through basketball and enrich everyday life. It views sports as cultural infrastructure that connects people and operates under the slogan “Attract The World.” At its core are its black navy club colors and a shield-inspired logo, with activities spanning the top team, youth development, and community building with fans and the local area.
Concept
The club believes that sports can become a major part of cultural infrastructure, connecting people and moving everyone who watches. Altiri Chiba aims to grow into a team that one day competes on the world stage and to build a club that everyone involved can truly be proud of through basketball.
