AM EYEWEAR is an eyewear brand founded in Australia in 2003 by Simon Kumar Ponnusamy. Starting from a market in which unique, handcrafted frames were in short supply, the brand offers sunglasses and optical frames. Its mission is “to create beautiful and exceptional eyewear,” and its founder oversees design with guidance from optical engineers. The brand has grown into an international wholesale brand, centered on production by artisans using materials such as Italian acetate and Japanese titanium. Flat tops and straight edges are signature features.
