Overview

Arne Jacobsen is a design brand named after the architect and furniture/industrial designer who worked in Copenhagen, Denmark. It grew out of the studio founded by its namesake, Arne Jacobsen, in 1929, and expanded across architecture, interiors, furniture, lighting, clocks, textiles, tableware, and other fields. Centered on “total design,” which integrates architecture with interiors and furniture, the brand is internationally known for signature works such as the Egg, Swan, Ant, and Series 7 chairs. Today, Arne Jacobsen Design I/S, established by the designer’s family, manages the intellectual property rights and official licensing.

Concept

Arne Jacobsen® Design aims to preserve Arne Jacobsen’s design legacy and to raise awareness of it through communication and collaboration with museums, cultural institutions and others.
