AURELIA is a hat brand made entirely in Japan, launched in 2018 by Nihon Sanada Hat Co., Ltd. of Kobe. Drawing on the company’s hatmaking expertise, it offers Japanese-made hats using materials such as braid in SUMMER and WINTER collections. The brand name comes from Via Aurelia, an ancient road in Italy, and a woman’s name meaning “gold”; it was chosen to evoke Kobe’s resort image. Guided by the phrase “Change your heart, change your mood,” the brand proposes hats that offer a change of pace in everyday life for people who value substance.
