Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is a Lolita fashion brand whose company was founded in Tokyo, Japan, in 1988 by the Isobe couple (Akinori and Fumiyo), and which launched in 1990. Centered on dresses featuring lace and frills, it offers apparel and accessories. In 2004, it also launched the gothic/punk-oriented sub-brand Alice and the Pirates, and continues to operate shops in Japan and overseas. Co-founder Fumiyo Isobe is also involved in design at times.
