BBLD is a Japan-based apparel brand established in 2025. Inspired by the beauty of movement in play, it takes shifts in balance, trajectories, rhythms, and gestures that emerge through movement as starting points for design, developing everyday wear connected to street cultures such as skateboarding. Its offerings include T-shirts, sweatshirts, nylon jackets, vests, pants, hats, and tote bags. Its concept is to shape the logic of play into contemporary clothing. The brand has presented its Spring/Summer 2026 collection, translating play-derived design into streetwear.
Concept
The brand takes inspiration from the beauty of movement in play and combines it with street cultures such as skateboarding, which also value a playful spirit. Shifts in balance and moments of focus that arise through movement, along with rhythms and gestures naturally acquired through exchanges of strategy, serve as starting points for design. Pockets placed where they are needed, panel lines and graphics derived from trajectories of movement: these are designed to feel at home as everyday clothing while drawing on the logic of play. Sensations are shaped into forms suited to contemporary style.
