BLACKUP is a fashion brand based in Seoul, South Korea. It grew from an online shop launched in 2013 by its representative, Choi Yenarae. The brand focuses on womenswear and offers a range of products including tops, pants, outerwear, denim, skirts, dresses, bags, shoes, jewelry, and unisex clothing. With a focus on the novelty and rapid changes of the present day, it proposes a lifestyle that combines relatable, practical designs with comfort and trend awareness. Its lines include BLACKUP PROJECT, which features original products, as well as B-BASIC and B-DENIM, and it has expanded sales beyond South Korea.
Concept
BLACKUP focuses on the new and fast changes of the modern times. We take interest in new things - we observe, share and discover the value within them and we seek a lifestyle of comfort as well as trendiness. Rather than abstract and complicated designs, we seek to unfold designs that are empathic and practical.
