NOT FOR ORDINARY PEOPLE
Blue Noise is a small-scale line announced for winter 2025 by the Japanese fashion brand glamb, founded in Tokyo in 2003 by designer Kan Furuya. Centered on menswear, it offers tailored jackets, coats, denim jackets, knitwear, shirts, cut-and-sew tops, slacks, and other items. TK, glamb’s Head Designer, draws inspiration from the sound of the sea and white noise, proposing simplicity as “subtraction”: rather than adding color or pattern, it brings out the inherent value of things and people. Against the backdrop of glamb’s concept, “Grunge for Luxury,” the line features a range of refined items.

Concept

The approach was an attempt at subtraction that lays bare the inherent value of things and people, rather than an additive approach that arms them with color and pattern.
