A Story of Bourgeois Allure since 1910.
Borbonese is a fashion brand founded in Turin, Italy, in 1910. Its founder, Lucia Lorenzoni Ginestrone, created jewelry and fashion accessories for local tailors. Today, the brand focuses primarily on bags and leather goods, with the “O.P. (Occhio di Pernice)” pattern, created in the 1960s, as its signature. It reinterprets styles inspired by Italian bourgeois culture in a contemporary way and states its commitment to sustainability and intergenerational inclusivity.

Concept

The Italian bourgeois style is transposed into a new, younger and contemporary era, full of contaminations, yet still rooted in timeless codes. All this to celebrate an independent, elegant and cosmopolitan woman.

Created by designers Dorian Tarantini and Matteo Mena, it consisted of limited-edition apparel and accessories. In contrast to Borbonese’s main line, centered on traditional bags and leather goods, it was presented as a diffusion line responsible for new products and expressions aimed at younger generations. The 2021 accessories collection was also released under this name.
