Overview

BOSS Orange is a casualwear line launched in 1999 by HUGO BOSS, which was founded in Metzingen, Germany, in 1924. Within the HUGO BOSS brand world, it offered a lifestyle range centered on menswear and womenswear, including sports and leisure, and officially promoted a “lighthearted, easygoing attitude.” In addition to clothing, the line covered shoes, accessories, watches, eyewear, and fragrances. From Spring/Summer 2018, it was integrated into BOSS. In 2023, the Orange line was reintroduced for womenswear.

One of BOSS’s four brand lines, with broad responsibility for casualwear. While its role is distinct from the modern tailoring of BOSS Black and the athleisure of BOSS Green, it expands the range of everyday clothing, including T-shirts, denim, polo shirts, and jackets. In 2023, it was also reintroduced in BOSS Womenswear, where it serves as the everyday-wear component of BOSS’s overall 24/7 offering.
