Overview

Cadette was an Italian ready-to-wear brand founded in Milan in 1966 by manager Enzo Crocchiatti and former model Christine Tidmarsh. Walter Albini was involved in creating the early collections, and from 1968 French designer Muriel Grateau also contributed to the collections. The brand achieved success at Pitti. It opened boutiques in Milan and Paris, and after Crocchiatti's death, Andrea Fantoni took over the brand. From the late 1970s, Franco Moschino served as designer, developing ready-to-wear centered on reinterpretations of the past and the European avant-garde.
