CITIZEN CONNECTED is a line of connected watches and hybrid smartwatches launched in 2019 by Japanese watchmaker CITIZEN. Advance sales began in June 2019. The watches connect to smartphones via Bluetooth through a dedicated app and support notifications, activity tracking, sleep tracking, music controls, and watch-face customization. Models compatible with Riiiver also offer features that connect the watch with internet services. The line is developed around combining the appearance of an analog watch with smart functions.
