CLASKA is a Japanese lifestyle business that began in 2003 as a project to renovate the former Hotel New Meguro in Meguro, Tokyo. After operating as a complex featuring a hotel, restaurant, gallery, and shop, and following the closure of Hotel CLASKA on December 20, 2020, it now focuses on CLASKA Gallery & Shop “DO,” developing and selling original products through its online shop and wholesale business, including household goods, apparel, and furniture. Through brands such as D, HAU, HOIM, āta, and kalsac, it presents contemporary Japanese aesthetics and culture in everyday life.

D-FOUR is the brand created in 2021 when CLASKA rebranded its original apparel as “D.” It values the backgrounds of its materials and designs, and proposes a “my wardrobe” that grows comfortable for both body and mind over time. In contrast to HAU, which offers new pieces across multiple seasons and everyday wear shaped by the designer’s perspective, and ata, which is responsible for creating new casual styles with a sense of mode and developing staples, D-FOUR is a line that clearly represents the enduring, continuous nature of CLASKA’s original clothing. Its defining characteristics include a staple collection as the foundation of the brand and an emphasis on material selection and long-term wear.

HAU is an original apparel brand launched by CLASKA in 2019 with Mao Waratani. While CLASKA proposes ways of living across household goods, furniture, general goods, and clothing, HAU focuses on everyday wear for adult women, offering clothes that can be worn casually while bringing variation to an outfit. It places importance on the background of its materials and designs. Whereas D is built around staple clothing, and ata presents new casual wear with a sense of mode and aims to make it a staple, HAU is positioned as the line responsible for seasonal everyday wear through the designer’s perspective.

ata is an original apparel brand launched by CLASKA in spring 2025, with design by 藁谷真生, who also works on HAU. While HAU proposes everyday wear for adult women that is easy to wear without fuss, ata develops clothing centered on “clothes I want to wear from now on,” incorporating a moderate sense of mode, neutral colors, and relaxed silhouettes without limiting itself to natural materials. It also differs from D’s My Wardrobe, which emphasizes the background of its materials and design, and adds new casual options to CLASKA’s apparel lineup while serving to develop enduring staples over time.

In 2025, kalsac became a new brand centered on CLASKA’s series of original bags, which CLASKA had been producing for many years. While CLASKA Gallery & Shop “DO” covers a wide range of products, from household goods and furniture to clothing, kalsac focuses exclusively on bags and offers items suited to everyday use regardless of gender, age, or era. Its designs add a measured degree of polish to casual outfits and can also be paired with slightly more formal attire. Within CLASKA’s lineup, where HAU, D-FOUR, and ata cover clothing, kalsac is an independent brand that complements everyday fashion accessories.
