Desert Rose was a fashion line for juniors and plus-size juniors launched in summer 2009 by Los Angeles apparel manufacturer Private Icon. Designer and merchandiser Cynthia Hernandez was involved, and the line offered tops, denim, jumpsuits, and other items. Its direction was described as “a balance of bold, edgy urban and poetic vintage,” combining romantic vintage elements with fashion-forward denim. It was also carried by ModCloth.com and Kress stores in Puerto Rico.
