DURAS

DURAS ambient was an independent women’s line launched in 2003 by Duras Co., Ltd., which operated DURAS. In contrast to DURAS’s glamorous, trend-focused main line, it was differentiated as a high-end collection for adults, emphasizing evolved basics, monochrome tones, lace, and silhouettes. It was developed as both a sister brand to DURAS and a higher-tier line. After being sold in stores and online alongside DURAS under its own independent brand name, it was transferred to another company in 2016 and later dropped the DURAS name, ending its run as a line under DURAS.

DURAS GOLF was a women’s golfwear line derived from DURAS. It began a trial rollout as DURAS SPORTS in 2009, was renamed DURAS GOLF in 2010, and then launched on a full scale. Aimed at female golfers in their 20s and 30s, it sought a middle ground between the characteristic flair of DURAS and the basics of traditional golfwear, proposing clothing suitable for both the course and the town. While DURAS ambient handled everyday clothing for adults, DURAS GOLF was positioned as a specialized spin-off line that expanded into sportswear. It has since been discontinued.

MY FAVORITE TIARA was an independent women's brand produced by DURAS in 2013. It revived a brand of the same name that had previously been launched, after a hiatus of about five years. Unlike DURAS's glamorous everyday wear and the adult-oriented basics of DURAS ambient, it offered celebrity resort casualwear centered on the sea and travel. It was announced as a new brand from DURAS and also participated in Tokyo Girls Collection under its own brand name. Its ZOZOTOWN store ceased operations on January 31, 2014, and it is now a discontinued spin-off brand.
