Overview

EPOCA MIA debuted in Fall/Winter 2025 as a new line of EPOCA, the womenswear brand developed by Sanyo Shokai. In Italian, “EPOCA” means “era,” and “MIA” means “mine.” The brand carries forward EPOCA’s high-quality materials and construction, along with its elegant sensibility, while proposing items that incorporate contrasting elements such as casual and dressy, grace and poise, and modern and classical. Offered in limited quantities, it is primarily available through a permanent presence within the EPOCA shop at Hankyu Umeda Main Store and through pop-ups; it is not sold through online stores. Its concept is “An elegance unlike anyone else’s, worn while enjoying contradictions.”

Concept

Refinement and a spirit of adventure that remain true to oneself, unconstrained by old values. Knowing what is authentic makes it possible to break with convention. An elegance unlike anyone else’s, worn while enjoying contradictions.

A new women’s sub-line of EPOCA that debuted in Fall/Winter 2025. While inheriting the high-quality materials, craftsmanship, and elegant elements of the existing EPOCA line, it proposes styling with a sense of change and playfulness by combining contrasting elements such as casual and dressy, grace and poise, and modern and classic. Its permanent presence is limited to select stores, and it is not sold online. The line serves to add a different expression to the regular EPOCA line.
