Overview

GOODENOUGH, a Japanese streetwear brand, launched around 1990, originating from a proposal by Hiroshi Fujiwara and SKATE THING, with Fujiwara, SKATE THING, Toru Iwai, and Mizutsugu as its four founding members. It began with graphic T-shirts and also produced high-quality jackets, pants, and other items in small quantities. The brand is also known for keeping its designer’s identity undisclosed for many years, and it influenced Japan’s street scene, particularly in Ura-Harajuku. In 2004, the diffusion line “RESONATE GOODENOUGH” also emerged.

A simple, functional line for everyday wear

RESONATE GOODENOUGH was officially launched in the 2004 autumn/winter season as GOODENOUGH

RESONATE GOODENOUGH was officially launched in the 2004 autumn/winter season as GOODENOUGH’s second line. While carrying forward the main line’s graphics and street sensibility, it focused on more practical, everyday designs, offering jackets, pants, matching sets, and basic cut-and-sew items. The line’s product range sat between streetwear and high street, and its distinct price range, material choices, and design direction helped it appeal to a broader customer base.
