Grom’s is a children’s footwear line by San Francisco-based Indosole. The parent brand Indosole began in 2009, inspired by founder Kyle Parsons’s experiences in Bali, and produces sandals made from repurposed discarded tires in collaboration with Indonesian artisans. Grom’s applies this environmentally conscious technology to children’s flip-flops, using soles made from recycled tires and footbeds made from natural rubber. Under the motto “Children are our future,” it offers products as an entry point to conscious consumption and responsible living for the next generation.

Concept

Children are our future. If we can influence the next generation to think and dress more consciously, there is a good chance they will carry on these values throughout their lives.

Grom's is the name of Indosole’s official collection for children, a line that extends its approach to responsible consumption and recycled materials into kids’ footwear. It differs from regular adult-oriented collections such as ESSNTLS in its target age group and sizing, and is primarily made up of children’s flip-flops. It is a derivative line within the Indosole brand family, serving to bring the brand’s environmental considerations into the daily lives of younger consumers.
