Overview

Guy Paulin is a French prêt-à-porter brand founded by designer Guy Paulin, who was from the Lorraine region of France. In 1980, he presented his first collection under his own name in Paris. The brand offered simple womenswear focused on functionality and ease of wear, including fishnet knitwear that attracted attention in the 1970s. From 1984 to 1986, he was responsible for Chloé’s designs, and in 1986 he relaunched his own brand. The brand ceased operations after its final collection in October 1989.
