HERG1 is a Japanese golfwear and lifestyle brand founded in Tokyo in 2020 by Yumiko Uchishiba. Born in Hokkaido, Uchishiba studied fashion design in Milan, Italy, and worked as a designer for a local brand. Drawing on this experience, the brand offers clothing that combines functionality suited to golf with the aesthetic sensibility she cultivated in Milan and Japanese materials and sewing techniques. Its collections focus on menswear and womenswear, with clothes designed for everyday settings such as the office, the city, and travel, as well as the golf course. Under the motto “Borderless & Timeless,” the brand positions golfwear as an extension of everyday clothing.
