KANEMASA PHIL. is a Japanese knitwear brand launched for the Spring/Summer 2021 season, backed by Kanemasa Meriyasu Co., Ltd., founded in 1964. Building on the expertise of a circular-knit manufacturer based in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, it handles the entire process, from developing original materials using high-gauge and jacquard knitting machines to producing finished products. Its brand concept is “FUTURE CLASSIC / FUTURE VINTAGE,” and it offers unisex wear inspired by its materials. The creative director is Kengo Baba.
